The history of independence day
The independence act was going on from world War 1 . The act was led by the honorable father of our nation Mohandas karamchand Gandhi (Mahatma Gandhi). At last we got our independence from the britishers (AFTER 200 YEARS OF BRITISH RULE).

Indian flag 🇮🇳
The Indian flag is also known as tiranga as it has 3 main colors saffron representing sacrifice , white representing peace and green representing fertility and growth. The blue Chakra in the middle has two ways of representing 1. The charkha of ghandhi ji 2. The ashoka Chakra (in the ashokan pillar).
Fun and rare facts
1. India's first national flag was hoisted in the Parsee Bagan Square (Green Park) of Kolkata .
2. The song (bharoto bhagyo bidhata) composed by the noble prize winner rabindranath tagor was renamed with some changes Jana gana mana and adopted as our national anthem in 1950 .
3. Five other countries also celebrate their independence day on 15 August with India. They are Bahrain, North Korea, South Korea and Liechtenstein and ???
