CAD DISEASE (coronary heart disease)
This disease is very common but its also very dangerous in india around 10millon people suffer from it per year. In this disease plaque build-ups and blood flow gets slow in the most of the cases. This disease can be caused without any symptoms. It also has some symptoms like chest pain, Gastrointestinal symptoms are indigestion or nausea, whole body symptoms are light-headedness or sweating and the common symptoms are fast heart rate or shortness of breath. The treatment for this disease are Weight loss—Can improve cardiovascular health and reduce the risk of complications related to obesity. Low fat diet—Reducing intake of high-fat foods such as dairy, oil and red meat to improve cardiovascular health. Physical exercise —Aerobic activity for 20–30 minutes 5 days a week improves cardiovascular health. If injured, pursuing an activity that avoids the injured muscle group or joint can help maintain physical function while recovering, quit smoking . Statin---Decreases the liver's production of harmful cholesterol. Anticoagulant—Unwanted reactions from taking drugs that inhibit blood clotting. The most common problem is too much bleeding, which can be very serious. Beta blocker—Slows heart rate and decreases blood pressure. When taken in eye-drop form, it reduces eye pressure. Antianginal—Helps reduce chest pain or pressure caused by blockages in the arteries of the heart. Calcium channel blocker—Relaxes blood vessels. Medical procedure for this disease are Coronary stent—A tube placed in the arteries of the heart to keep them open. Angioplasty—Unblocking an artery by inflating a balloon inside it. A stent may also be inserted to hold the artery open. Surgery for it Coronary artery bypass surgery—Surgery that restores blood flow to the heart by using a healthy artery or vein to bypass a blocked artery. The specialist for this disease are cardiologist ,Geriatrician ,Cardiac Surgeon ,Primary Care Provider (PCP) , Emergency Medicine Doctor.
